Under the auspices of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), an exciting global competition has given us  a fantastic design for a new village hub for our parish. The Parish Council and the Village Hall and Playing Fields Association have worked in tandem on this project, and both would like to thank Darren Ratcliffe for his assistance - without his expertise this would not have been possible.

The new hub will comprise additional sporting facilities, a new village hall / community centre, and a new sports pavilion.  There will be state-of-the-art catering facilities and a new bar / cafe so that the hub can host a full range of events.

The winning architects are Sutherland Hussey Harris based in Edinburgh, and their design has now been submitted for planning approval.  Their design submission is shown below :
