Thirsk and Malton MP, Kevin Hollinrake, paid a visit to Sessay on Friday 27 May.   He attended a meeting at the Village Hall with representatives from Yorkshire Water and with local Council Members, including Cllr Mark Robson, leader of Hambleton District Council, and Cllr Bob Baker, from NYCC, to discuss improvements to the sewerage system and surface water management arrangements in Sessay.  A tour of the village followed, and we now expect further meetings to take place with the NYCC Flood Risk Management Team that will help us to develop our Surface Water Management Plan for the village.
