Ahead of the launch of the official competition to design a new community hub, the children of Sessay School have put down their own plans for the facility.

There was an enormous ammount of flair and imagination on show as the children drew up their dream village centre, with fantastic sports facilities and a full range of modern amenities. Whether an underground car-park will prove realisable in the final project remains to be seen, but these amazing ideas certainly encourage us all to aim for the very best from our new community centre.

What is RSS?

RSS (or Really Simple Syndication) is the technical term for a newsfeed.

If you are an "Information Junkie", then RSS is perfect for you. RSS is about getting live web feeds directly to your computer. RSS takes the latest headlines from our website, and pushes those headlines down to your computer for quick scanning. It can also visually inform you when a new news article has been published.

Setting up a RSS Newsfeed is simple but not all web-browsers have an RSS reader built in. To know for sure, simply click on the RSS Feed button above. If you get a new page full of code then it's likely you haven't got a Feed Reader installed. If this is the case we recommend you Google search for a RSS feed reader for your chosen web-browser.
