87 % !  That is the fantastic response rate achieved to the Village Plan Questionnaire.  Out of 177 households in the Parish, we received replies from 154.

There were a further 19 questionnaires from people outside the villages and it is still planned to conduct a separate survey specifically aimed at the younger generation of the parish. We now have a wealth of useful data that will be invaluable in putting together the final Village Plan. This is a vital step as without this proof of community commitment it is very difficult to obtain funding for the projects we would like to launch.
There was a good turnout for a public meeting on April 1 to go over the initial conclusions from the questionnaire.  Four questionnaires came in at the last minute and had been included in the statistics at that stage. If you missed the event but would like to find out more, you can see a summary by going to Parish Council - Village Plan.

Congratulations and thanks who everyone for making this first step in the process so successful !

What is RSS?

RSS (or Really Simple Syndication) is the technical term for a newsfeed.

If you are an "Information Junkie", then RSS is perfect for you. RSS is about getting live web feeds directly to your computer. RSS takes the latest headlines from our website, and pushes those headlines down to your computer for quick scanning. It can also visually inform you when a new news article has been published.

Setting up a RSS Newsfeed is simple but not all web-browsers have an RSS reader built in. To know for sure, simply click on the RSS Feed button above. If you get a new page full of code then it's likely you haven't got a Feed Reader installed. If this is the case we recommend you Google search for a RSS feed reader for your chosen web-browser.
