Yoga Classes are held at the Village Hall every Thursday morning 10.00–11.30am and Thursday evening 7.30–9.00pm. Everyone welcome. Further information, contact Margaret on 01845 595142.

The Parish Council have got a store of sandbags for community use in case of flooding. They are kept in a locked hut where the recycling area was at the rear of the Village Hall. Access to the hut is by a breakable glass key holder beside the hut doorway.

Sessay Ramblers - if you are interested in joining a walk or would like to lead a walk contact John on 01845 501233. Details circulated via the Community Bulletin.

Village Prayer Group - the group meets for a short time and quiet thought & prayer, from 9.30am – 10am every second Tuesday of the month. Everyone is most welcome. For details about the venue, please ring Mrs J. Wood on 01845 501243.

Outdoor Bowls – For further details, contact Mrs Pat Bee on 01845 501491. Bowls Open Day TBA. The original date was cancelled due to weather / ground conditions.

NEW - SESSAY COMMUNITY CAFÉ – A Community Café held on the LAST SATURDAY MORNING OF EVERY MONTH, FROM 10.00AM TO 12.00PM. Come along for a coffee and a chat, and perhaps a piece of cake!

Wednesday 4th July WI Outing to Ripon Workhouse
Saturday 7th July Bowls Club - Johns Trophy (County Game) at Sessay – Yorkshire v Lincolnshire. 1.30pm. Spectators welcome.
Sunday 8 July Sessay Open Gardens, 1.30pm – 5.00pm. Afternoon teas in the Village Hall. Songs of Praise in a garden to end the day. All proceeds in aid of St Cuthbert’s Church. Everyone welcome.
Tuesday 10th July Tuesday Club meets in the Bar Room, 2.00pm. “The work of Northdale Horticulture” with Mr Cross, Manager.
Wednesday 18 July Church Coffee Morning, 10.00am-11.30pm – venue TBA
Friday 20 July Sessay School closes at 2.00pm for Summer Holidays
Saturday 28 July Sessay Community Café in Village Hall, 10.00am-12.00pm
AUGUST’ 2018
Wednesday 1 August The WI meets in the tearoom, 7.00pm – Open Evening – “Sky Lanterns & Memories of China” with Mrs Jean Harrod. Everyone welcome.
Tuesday 14th August Tuesday Club meets in the Bar Room, 2.00pm. “Wrong time, Wrong Place” by Katie Willcomm
