Our next Crafty Saturday is on 25th April at 11 am and the theme is 'The Good Shepherd'. Come along and enjoy yourselves - and have a lovely lunch together afterwards.

Crafty 5The first Crafty Saturday was in October 2012 with the backing of the Parochial Church Council (PCC) and since then we have held six events. It was seen as another way in which the church could serve our local community especially families with pre or school age children. All ages from babes in arms to grandparents come along and are welcome, it’s “hands on” for everyone.

Our team, made up of church and non church-goers, is eager and full of wonderful fun ideas.

Crafty Saturday meets at Sessay Village Hall at 11am-1pm every three months approximately. Each session is themed. Themes have included Harvest, Candlemas, Creation, Parts of the body, all joining together. Families are free to join in whichever creative crafts or activities they fancy. Leaders are there to help. An interactive Celebration with stories and songs then follows in the lounge. The session ends back in the hall for a light lunch where we all join together to socialise.

Whether you’re looking for a fun, often messy morning, full of laughter, or a quiet chat with somebody this is the place to come!
